In Focus: A celebration of sight – An exhibition by Maureen Osborne

The Harbour Gallery Jersey is proud to present In Focus: A Celebration of Sight, a stunning collection of oil paintings by renowned studio artist Maureen Osborne. Running from 21st March to 20th April 2025, this exhibition is a deeply personal and visually captivating tribute to the gift of sight.

For Maureen, the ability to see and create art has never been more precious. Following sight-saving surgeries at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, she experienced first hand how vital our vision is—not just for artistic expression but for overall mental and physical well-being. This exhibition stands as both a personal journey and an inspiring message to others: never take your eyesight for granted.

Through her vibrant and expressive works, Maureen invites us to celebrate the beauty of the world around us, emphasizing how crucial vision is to our daily lives and creative pursuits. The collection reflects gratitude, resilience, and a renewed perspective—both literally and figuratively.

The exhibition will officially open on Thursday, 20th March, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a special address by Dr. Ed Sallis OBE, FRSA at 6:30 pm. Join us for an evening of art, inspiration, and awareness, with a buffet and wine bar available.
