Have your say on offshore windfarm proposals
Four events around the Island will provide the public with easy access to important information about the examination process for the Mooir Vannin offshore windfarm application.
The sessions are being held as part of the public consultation which started last month when the application was accepted for examination by the Council of Ministers under the Marine Infrastructure Management Act 2016 (MIMA).
Anyone with an interest in the proposal can express their views before the consultation closes on 18 November. The drop-in events will help residents and stakeholders to understand how to have their say and will explain what happens next in the examination process, after the public consultation.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the sessions which will run from 4pm to 7pm:
- 30 September – City Hall, Ridgeway Street, Douglas
- 1 October – Town Hall, Farrants Way, Castletown
- 2 October – Town Hall, Parliament Square, Ramsey
- 3 October – House of Manannan, Mill Road, Peel
Visit the government website to read the application, see the MIMA application process, register as an interested party, and for details on how to have your say.
