Guernsey Spring Food Fest
Guernsey’s vibrant food scene is set to spring into action this April with the launch of the Guernsey Spring Food Fest – a brand-new islands-wide celebration of local ingredients, seasonal menus, and the incredible variety of dining experiences the islands have to offer.
Running throughout April, the Guernsey Spring Food Fest promises to tempt both locals and visitors to explore the island’s cafés, restaurants, bistros, and bars – all showcasing their own unique seasonal specials, offers, and spring-inspired menus.
Created by the team behind the hugely popular Tennerfest and supported by VisitGuernsey and the Tourism Management Board this new festival aims to drive bookings, support local hospitality, and shine a spotlight on Guernsey’s rich culinary scene during the shoulder season.
VisitGuernsey’s team added their support: “We may be small in size but we are mighty, and by working together we can showcase the very best the islands have to offer. The quality and variety of our dining experiences is one of our strengths and a hook for us to market the islands. The flexibility the festival offers to participants should result in an exciting promotion that we can use to encourage last minute Easter bookings, add value for those who are already booked and that locals can also take advantage of.
“This is all about celebrating what Guernsey does best – great food, fresh local ingredients, and fantastic hospitality,” said the event team. “It’s a chance for locals to rediscover favourite spots and for visitors to sample something new – from hearty seasonal specials to light spring dishes and family-friendly Easter treats.”
Participating venues will be offering everything from set menus and signature Spring dishes to exclusive offers and special promotions, with complete flexibility to showcase their food and drink in a way that works for their business.
