Guernsey Private Wealth Forum
Guernsey Finance has announced the panellists for its annual Private Wealth Forum.
Held on 2 November, the event, titled ‘Changing Families in a Changing World’, will explore the nature of change and cultural dynamics, examine the non-nuclear family, and discuss the impact of the next generation.
Following the opening address from Guernsey Finance Chief Executive Rupert Pleasant, two panel sessions will be held.
First, Changing Families: Increased Mobility and Generational Handover will hear from Samuel Bosanquet, Family Office Services Director from Schroders, Charisse Crawford, a Partner at Trowers & Hamlins LLP and Greg Limb, KPMG’s Global Head of Family Office and Private Clients.
The panel is highly experienced in working with family offices, multi-jurisdiction families, complex holding structures and complicated trust and estate disputes.
The second panel will explore Our Changing World and the Impact of Market Trends on Private Wealth. Diana Robinson, Managing Director and Head of Investments & Advice at J.P. Morgan, will be joined on stage by David White, Managing Director of QB Partners Limited and Nick Rees, Managing Director and a member of the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates. The panellists will share their expertise in private client investment portfolios and cross-border financial planning.
Guernsey Finance will also launch a new piece of research on the changing nature of managing family wealth across generations. This includes changing attitudes, locations and priorities, and how Guernsey private wealth practitioners can support younger HNWs in exploring and implementing these trends.
Finally, broadcasting legend Sir Trevor McDonald OBE will join the conference for a fireside chat with Rupert Pleasant.
“Like many of people, I grew up watching Sir Trevor present the news every night, so to have him at our event is a huge honour,” said Rupert.
“The calibre of speakers at Guernsey’s flagship private wealth event this year is truly inspiring. Their expertise is sure to provide some exciting insights into the fundamental changes taking place in the private wealth sector.”
The Guernsey Finance Private Wealth Forum will be held on 2 November at Landing Forty Two, The Leadenhall Building, London.
