Grant Thornton invites you to an upcoming breakfast seminar on 23 April 2024, discussing Integrity, Financial Penalties and other Sanctions Post GSFC v Domaille, Clarke and Hannis in the Court of Appeal – What have we learnt and where does this take us?

This event is for those who attended the January seminar and/or those who plan to attend the webinar: Recent Guernsey Financial Services Commission Enforcement Cases – Where to from here?

This event promises to be a valuable opportunity for senior financial services professionals, in particular Directors, to expand their understanding of the recent Court of Appeal judgment and how this may impact Industry and the future decisions of the Commission, and we are excited to share our experience, learnings, insights and strategies.

Some of the key areas we will cover are:

  • Where does the Court of Appeal Judgements leave us?
  • Why is probity important and how often does this arise?
  • Prohibitions and other sanctions.
  • What have we learnt and where does this take us?

The seminar will be presented by Charisma Lyall, Director, Grant Thornton Guernsey. Advocate Anthony Williams, Appleby, will join Charisma for a fireside chat to discuss interesting aspects of the Court of Appeal case.
