Family Mediation Week: Ask a mediator drop-in session

Family Mediation Jersey is proud to sponsor this year’s Family Mediation Week, an initiative led by the Family Mediation Council. Running from the 27th to the 31st of January, the week is packed with free events designed to help the public and professionals learn more about family mediation and its many benefits.

As part of the week’s activities, Family Mediation Jersey will be hosting a series of ‘Ask A Mediator’ drop-in sessions offering individuals the opportunity to speak directly with experienced mediators about issues such as separation, divorce, childcare arrangements, and financial decisions. These sessions aim to raise awareness of family mediation as a constructive, non-confrontational way to resolve disputes. Members of the community are welcome to drop in to any of the free sessions over the course of the week, which are taking place in two locations.

• Wednesday 29th January, 12pm-3pm: NatWest International
• Thursday 30th January, 12pm-3pm: Santander Work Café in conjunction with Community Savings Jersey

At these sessions, attendees can meet confidentially with Family Mediation Jersey’s team to seek free advice and support while gaining a better understanding of how family mediation can help resolve conflicts. Community Savings will also be in attendance on Thursday 30th January to offer advice and support on financial matters.
