Elements exhibition
Art in the Frame Foundation is delighted to welcome you to the opening of a wonderfully colourful mixed media Autumn exhibition at The Harbour Gallery Jersey, Sunday 15th September.
The exhibition will be officially opened by Deputy Kirsten Morel at 12 midday and staying open until 4.00pm.
The exhibition will then continue 7 days a week 9.30am – 5.30pm.
The exhibitors are Bianca Padidar textiles, Stephanie Rondel painting and ceramics, Marc McCarty blown glass.
Stephanie Rondel:
Stephanie is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans across painting and ceramics responding to our natural environment. She focuses on the continually changing landscape and its influence from rhythms and cycles such as the tide and seasons. She seeks to embody a sense of energy and life in her work through the use of line, colour and gesture.
Marc McCarty:
Glassblowing Jersey is the Channel Islands only hot glass studio. Marc makes bespoke hand blown glass vessels, sculptures and lighting. He also specializes in memorial glass, that contain the ashes of dearly departed, loved ones. The Studio is at the Devils hole, opposite The Priory Inn.
Bianca Padidar:
Bianca Padidar is a Teacher of Fashion and Textiles and an award-winning Textile Visual Artist . Her creative practice focusses on recording a sense of place through careful observation and material investigation. She works with a range of textile processes, including stitch, print , cyanotypes, digital rendering and fabric manipulation, creating textile artworks from an intimate scale to larger installation works. Her work is notable for the complex surfaces she achieves using sustainable and natural materials .
