Eco Explorers with The Guernsey Scientist
Join the Guernsey Scientist for a super fun and educational nature workshop with hands-on activities using art, nature, and play!
Kids will discover how cool animals like moths and crabs use camouflage and decoration to blend into their surroundings and hide from predators. They’ll learn that some changes happen quickly, while the evolution of new species takes millions of years. Plus, they’ll get to be citizen scientists in the Big Butterfly Count, helping to track butterflies and moths. As ‘Beach Detectives,’ they’ll explore rockpools, identify marine creatures, and learn about marine ecosystems through exciting interactive games.
Parents and carers welcome! Parking in the large gravel car park on the Fort Doyle side of Beaucette, we will meet there. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
