Eat, Drink and Be Local Street Party

The first of this summer’s Eat Drink and Be Local (EDABL) Seafront Sundays will take place this weekend, Sunday 25 May, along the seafront in St Peter Port. 

The first of four events allow small businesses, independent producers and artists to showcase their locally made food, drink and crafts. Local musicians will also provide live music throughout the day.

Luke Wheadon, Chair of EDABL, said: “These events allow us to celebrate the incredible produce, craftsmanship and talent in the Bailiwick. The seafront will be lined with artisan and craft stalls, whilst Crown Pier will host all the food and drinks pitches. 

“Many of the seafront restaurants and bars extend their outdoor seating, which creates a vibrant atmosphere and a real sense of community spirit. 

“The events have gained real momentum over the last couple of years and we are looking forward to seeing our regulars alongside new faces this weekend. It is important for us to give new producers the opportunity to test the market with their products, which also widens the offering of our events.”
