Digital Greenhouse’s Technology Festival, Future Rewired
Guernsey’s Digital Greenhouse’s Technology Festival, Future Rewired promises to provide a day of innovation and connections
Future Rewired returns for its fourth year on Saturday 11th June and will run from 9am to 5:30pm at the Digital Greenhouse.
The free technology festival features a range of talks, workshops and showcases from local speakers covering topics such as creative technology, innovation in entrepreneurship and more. The festival will bring together Guernsey’s tech community, where the audience will go under the hood with the technical deep drives, gain key tools in innovation workshops and meet like-minded people. It is open to all people working or interested in technology with plenty of chances to network with the local community.
The day will feature talks from Digital Greenhouse’s Programme and Engagement Manager Ben Wratten, a deep dive into Container Orchestration by Adrian Massey and a simultaneous retrospective talk by Matt Thornton about his journey running a tech business in Guernsey.
Attendees will hear about Azure B2C from Dave Wratten and the data behind Zero Energy Buildings from Jack Fletcher. We will also be joined by Marc Beavan as he walks us through how to use Docker for local.net development, and hear innovational insights from Nikita Botes as she talks about Digital Transformation.
The final session will be led by Damien Guard as he takes a dive into App Data at scale, and an interactive workshop by Jenny De La Mare, who is sharing some communication strategy tools for a successful product/business launch.
The day will conclude with an innovation challenge run by the Digital Greenhouse Team with a range of prizes.
Ben Wratten, Programme and Engagement Manager of the Digital Greenhouse commented: “We are excited to be running Future Rewired once again in 2022, bringing together a great range of speakers to share knowledge, experience and innovation in the local digital and creative community.”
