Denim Day March: A call to action against sexual violence
Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR) invites you to take part in the Denim Day March on Saturday, 19th April 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in St Helier.
This powerful event, part of our Denim for Change: Wear the Story, Break the Silence campaign, is a demonstration of solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and a call for systemic change in our community.
March for Change
The march will begin at West Centre and conclude at Royal Square, passing through Charing Cross. This event is not just about raising awareness but also about creating visibility, reclaiming public spaces, and demanding action from our government and communities. We want to make it clear: we will not stand by in the face of sexual violence, and we are united in our commitment to ending it.
Wear Denim, Show Your Support
As part of the global Denim Day movement, we encourage all attendees to wear denim. Bring banners, posters, placards, and your voice to show support for survivors and call for a future free from sexual violence. This march is for everyone – survivors, allies, advocates, and the wider community.
