Data Protection Support for Jersey’s Small Businesses
Running or working for a small business or start-up or a sole trader? Want to get data protection right but need some support?
Join the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner for this short presentation to chat through local data protection law, learn more about your obligations and gain from practical steps and guidance. Data Protection law is in place to help ensure that when it comes to our personal data, all of us are provided with appropriate legal protections. The Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 applies to the public, private, charity and non-profit sectors and all organisations that process personal data.
As well as providing guidance, the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner will be explaining more about the work of their office and help and resources available.
This event is free of charge.
