D-Day Darlings in first touring production in five years
Jersey Opera House Limited is thrilled to welcome the UK’s premier wartime-inspired vocal group, The D-Day Darlings, for a one-night-only performance on Monday 12 May at 7:30pm. This marks a landmark occasion as the first touring production to take place at the Opera House in over five years, following its extensive refurbishment.
The show is part of a major UK tour commemorating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and promises to be an uplifting tribute to hope and heroes – a powerful evening of nostalgic music, storytelling, and celebration for all generations.
Fresh from high-profile appearances on The One Show, Lorraine, BBC Radio 2, and ITV’s D-Day 80 concert at The Royal Albert Hall, The D-Day Darlings bring their brand-new show and anticipated new album to Jersey for the very first time.
“This is our first touring production to perform at the Opera House in five years, and it comes at a time when the Island is marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation,” said Jersey Opera House Ltd. “It’s a special, one-off event ahead of our full autumn season. While there’s still a lot to do before we’re fully operational, this performance is a step forward – and a chance to reconnect with audiences as we prepare to reopen more fully.”
