Completing the picture – how the NRA fits with your own

With just over 10 months until the MONEYVAL evaluation, we are pleased to host an informative lunchtime presentation.

Join us as we analyse the recent National Risk Assessments (NRAs) and develop a deeper understanding of what this means for the Islands’ regulated businesses. This is an important opportunity for businesses to be part of demonstrating how the Island meets the highest international standards.

With the field visit in September 2026 fast approaching, we will hear from our presenters on the milestones in the MONEYVAL timetable as well as the additional support that firms can call upon as part of the coordinated national response to the upcoming assessment. We will also hear about the economic context of the mutual evaluation process.

Bettina will emphasise the need for firms to have a thorough understanding of the NRAs and be able to articulate how the findings at the national level reflect in their own businesses.

Mark Rutherford, Chief Executive Officer at the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission

Mark will provide insights into the significance of the Government’s GSC’s recent Risk Appetite statement and how it fits within the eGaming specific NRA.

Jilly Christian, Head of the AML/CFT Policy Office

Jilly will give attendees a full understanding of the Government’s approach not only to the evaluation field visit, but also to the important post evaluation follow up period and the plenary meetings which allow the Government team to respond to the assessment’s initial findings.
