Community Healthcare – have your say
Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) are hosting a ‘Community Healthcare – have your say event later this month to facilitate discussions in relation to the future of community care in Jersey.
The event will begin with an introduction to the topic of community health, provided by Professor James Kingsland OBE, Primary Care Physician and Clinical Professor at the UCLan School of Medicine, who will be presenting international evidence about the benefits of expanding community based care.
We then aim to enable members of the community, elected representatives, civil servants and experts in healthcare to share their views in relation to the future of community healthcare in Jersey.
FNHC understands that this care needs to be sustainable and sustainably financed and that we need to deliver the greatest good for the greatest number of people. We want to provide a platform to communicate the voice of islanders.
FNHC CEO Rosemarie Finley commented: “It is imperative that, as a local charity providing healthcare in the local community, we continue to provide a platform for discussion where our community can have open discussions and share their views in relation to community healthcare. We do hope that members of the Jersey community who are interested in the future of Community Health will join us at the event.”
All of our community are welcome to join this event.
