Community health hustings

A Community Health Hustings event is being held at the beginning of June to facilitate discussions in relation to the future of community care in Jersey, enabling members of the community and prospective election candidates to share their views and intentions in this regard.

The session will follow the traditional hustings format with all of the community welcome to attend.

Those candidates wishing to stand for election this year have been contacted and invited to apply to join the hustings panel. Applications to the panel will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications for panel positions should be sent to [email protected].

We understand that this care needs to be sustainable and sustainably financed and that we need to deliver the greatest good for the greatest number of people. We want to provide a platform to communicate the voice of islanders in this regard and to provide an opportunity for those who wish to stand as our future elected representatives to share their views and plans in relation to Community Health in the event that they are elected.

We do hope that members of the Jersey community who are interested in the future of Community Health will join us at the event.
