Comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout
Acclaimed comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout will perform live in Guernsey for the first time on 25th October as part of a fundraising evening hosted by The Guernsey Protea Society.
The event, which will take place at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts, will include a one-hour performance by the South African comedian and will raise funds for Autism Guernsey.
“We’re thrilled to be able to host Schalk for his first performance in Guernsey. As we’ve seen with many of his global tours, his style of comedy is one that appeals to a broad audience,” said Maree Wilms, Chairman of the Guernsey Protea Society.
“His ability to connect with people through humor makes this event special, and we are excited to offer something a bit different from our previous fundraisers.”
Schalk is known for his energetic and relatable comedy style. He is currently on his worldwide tour, performing next in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, and Ireland in October before arriving in Guernsey.
“Comedy has this amazing ability to connect people, no matter where they’re from,” Schalk said. “I’m really looking forward to performing in Guernsey and having some fun with the crowd there. It’s going to be a great night!”
