Christmas Market supporting local independent businesses
Cherry Godfrey is delighted to announce its first-ever Christmas Market, hosted for one night only on 11 December, in support of Guernsey’s independent creators and small businesses.
The event forms part of the company’s wider Shop Local Campaign, encouraging islanders to support local retailers throughout the festive season.
Taking place during St Peter Port’s Late Night Shopping, the Cherry Godfrey office will be transformed into a warm and welcoming festive market, giving a platform to local makers who may not have a physical shop space to sell their goods this Christmas.
Visitors can expect a cosy, family-friendly evening filled with handmade gifts, arts and crafts, jewellery, candles, festive treats, and unique creations from talented islanders. Complimentary festive drinks and snacks will also be available while guests browse.
A Christmas Experience with a Purpose
Cherry Godfrey’s Shop Local Campaign highlights the importance of supporting small businesses that contribute to the richness and resilience of Guernsey’s community. By opening its doors and offering its premises to independent vendors, the company aims to help showcase local talent during the busiest shopping period of the year.
“We’re incredibly proud to be able to provide a home for local independent businesses who don’t have a physical store,” said Tanzy Cherry COO at Cherry Godfrey. “This Christmas Market is our way of supporting the talented creators in our community and encouraging islanders to shop local wherever possible.”
