Celebration of Sport
Free tickets are now available for the 2 December event at the Freedom Centre, celebrating the athletes, volunteers, coaches, clubs and countless others who make sport special across the island.
From sporting achievements to the people giving their time behind the scenes, Celebration of Sport will recognise the many contributions that help sport thrive in Jersey.
The evening will look back on the year’s highlights, celebrate the people making a difference and offer a chance for people from across different sports to come together, catch up and look ahead to what’s next for Jersey Sport and the island’s sporting community.
David Kennedy, CEO of Jersey Sport, said: “We had a great evening last year and it was brilliant to see so many people from across Jersey’s sporting community in one place.
“There’s so much wonderful stuff happening across the island, often thanks to people who give up their own time to help others get involved, and it’s important we take the time to recognise that.
“Celebration of Sport is a chance to bring everyone together, celebrate what’s happening across Jersey and say thank you to the people who make it all possible.
“We’d love to see as many people there as possible this year, whether you’re an athlete, coach, volunteer, involved in a club or just enjoy being part of sport in Jersey. Everyone has a place in our sporting community, and this is a great opportunity to celebrate that.”
Whether you’re involved in sport every week or simply enjoy being part of Jersey’s sporting community, everyone is welcome. Come along, catch up with others and help celebrate the people who make sport what it is across the island.
