Careers in Healthcare Open Day
Islanders interested in a career in healthcare are invited to a Discovery Open Day to learn more about nursing degree programmes delivered locally by Health and Care Jersey’s (HCJ) Faculty of Health Education Centre.
Up to 25 places are available on the degree programmes for 27 September 2027 entry. Graduates who successfully complete their studies are guaranteed employment in Jersey. Opportunities in Midwifery and Children and Young People’s Nursing are offered on an alternating annual basis.
The initiative is part of HCJ’s commitment to developing local talent and creating a sustainable healthcare workforce for Jersey.
At the open day prospective applicants will be able to meet senior lecturers, practice education facilitators, and current students. They will also be able to take part in interactive activities as well as receive advice on programmes, applications and available funding.
Two drop-in sessions will take place at the Education Centre, Peter Crill House, Jersey General Hospital, on Saturday 7 November, between 10am and 12.30pm and between 1.30pm and 4pm.
