Building AI-Enabled Operations in Professional Services
AI is already changing professional services.
The challenge for firms is no longer understanding whether AI matters. It is understanding what to do next.
This practical session is designed for law firms, accounting firms, fiduciaries and other professional services organisations that want to move beyond the AI conversation and start thinking seriously about implementation.
We will look at what needs to be in place before AI can deliver meaningful value, why clean data and well-designed processes matter, and how firms can begin applying AI to real day-to-day work.
Rather than another presentation about how transformative AI may eventually become, the focus will be on what firms can practically do today.
What you will walk away with
By the end of the session, you should have a clearer understanding of:
- How to assess whether your firm is genuinely ready for AI
- Why clean data, structured information and well-defined processes are essential foundations
- Which developments in AI genuinely matter to professional services firms today
- Where AI can already be applied to everyday work
- How AI can interact directly with the systems your firm already uses
- Why APIs and system accessibility are becoming increasingly important in an AI-driven environment
- How firms will increasingly be able to create tools, dashboards and workflows around their own specific needs
- The practical steps your firm can start taking now
From Theory to Practice
The session will combine a short overview of the current AI landscape with practical examples across client work, knowledge, compliance, administration and management.
We will also demonstrate what an AI-ready business system looks like in practice.
During the session, a management dashboard will be built live using AI and the Zygos API, starting from a simple business requirement and turning it into a working application.
The purpose of the demonstration is not to showcase coding.
It is to demonstrate a broader shift in how firms will use technology.
As AI becomes capable of working directly with structured data, APIs and business systems, firms will increasingly be able to create tools and workflows that reflect the way they actually operate, rather than relying only on the functionality their software
provides out of the box.
That raises a much more important question for professional services firms:
Is your technology environment ready for AI to work with it?
