Breast cancer awareness month – ABC Jersey drop in session
October marks breast cancer awareness month – an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.
There are a number of events being held around the island throughout October to help share the message. ABC Jersey are encouraging the local community to get behind pink month to help raise awareness.
Detecting the disease early significantly enhances the odds of survival. The ABC team will be available in the Work Café to promote how they can help and discuss the importance of regular self-examinations as part of their Touch, Look, Check campaign.
