Breakfast with Freeda: International Women’s Day 2024
In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2024, Freeda is delighted to announce ‘Breakfast with Freeda’ with special guests.
This year’s annual International Women’s Day breakfast will welcome guest speaker, Rachel Williams, survivor and founder of the first ever survivor-led domestic abuse conference: Stand Up to Domestic Abuse (SUTDA).
Rachel will share her experience and insights and will be joined by Kate Wright (Chair of the 2023 VAWG Government taskforce) who will discuss the current situation of VAWG in Jersey after the Taskforce’s Report and Recommendations in November 2023. Dr Deryn Evans will also discuss the important role of forensic evidence in domestic abuse cases.
The breakfast event will take place on the 8th of March at the Royal Yacht, and is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about this important topic, including corporates.
