Bloomin’ Alderney Garden Festival 2025
The Bloomin’ Alderney Garden Festival returns for its 16th year, running from Sunday 8 to Saturday 14 June 2025, offering residents and visitors alike the chance to explore the island’s most lovingly tended green spaces.
This annual event transforms the island into a vibrant tapestry of colour and creativity, with private gardens opening their gates for just a few hours or, in some cases, the entire week. Whether you’re a seasoned horticulturist or simply a lover of nature, there’s something to delight everyone, from hidden courtyard oases to sprawling, sea-view gardens.
This year, the festival is delighted to welcome special guest Chris Jesson—better known as @groovygardeninguk—a popular Instagram gardening influencer. Chris will be exploring the festival gardens and giving a special talk on Sunday, 8 June at 3pm in the Memorial Garden on Victoria Street (weather permitting), where he’ll share his insights and inspirations with fellow garden enthusiasts. All are welcome.
Additionally, the Warden of the Alderney Bird Observatory will give a talk on attracting birds to your garden at 3pm on Tuesday, 10 June at Wells House, Longis. Refreshments will be available.
Join us this June and immerse yourself in the Bloomin’ Alderney experience—where beauty, community, and nature come together in full bloom.
