Bergerac and beyond: How Jersey is attracting set-jetters

The producers behind the new series of Bergerac will be part of a panel at a Chartered Institute of Public Relations event on Thursday – 4 July from 5:30: Bergerac and Beyond: How Jersey Is Attracting Set-jetters.

The producers Ben Bickerton and Philip Trethowan will talk about how filming is progressing. The panel also includes the person who secured the rights to the original series, and a Visit Jersey representative who will explain how the film is being used to promote Jersey, and how businesses can get involved.

The panel will also feature Sophie Cousens (pictured), a New York Times best-selling author whose debut novel (This time next year) has just been released on Amazon Prime and Sky Store, and whose second novel (Just haven’t met you yet), is in development and likely to be filmed in Jersey.

There’s a £5 charge for non-CIPR members, which includes post-event drinks and networking.
