Artisan Market

Grow is throwing open its doors on Easter Saturday to a celebration of local craft, seasonal blooms and community spirit, with an Artisan Market running from 10am to 1pm.

Artisan stalls will be showcasing the very best of local talent and creativity. Visitors can browse a selection of coastal themed homeware, pick up vibrant stationery and eye-catching prints, or treat themselves to one of the desirable hand-crocheted handbags and accessories on offer. Those with an eye for something truly unique will find sea glass art alongside a range of chemical-free beauty products — all created with care by local makers.

There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained too, with face painting on offer throughout the morning and the chance to win Easter eggs and a giant cuddly bunny toy.

The on-site canteen will be serving homemade cakes and hot cross buns, the Flourish café will be open and so will The Old Potting Shed selling a range of products created in the on-site workshop and Easter themed gifts, all making the perfect excuse to linger a little longer.

Sarah van Zanten, Chair of Friends of Grow, known as FrOGs, who are organising the event, said: “There really is something for everyone here, with artisans bringing new products for this new season. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors.”

With the Easter weekend in full swing, it is also the ideal time to start thinking about the garden. Grow’s greenhouse is stocked with a full range of summer bedding and perennial plants, ready to bring colour and life to your outdoor spaces. For those looking to grow their own, starter vegetable packs are also available – everything you need to get the season off to a fresh and rewarding start.

Whether you are hunting for a handcrafted gift, planning your summer garden, or simply looking for a lovely way to spend an Easter morning, Grow has something for everyone.
