Applying the principles of sport to business

IoD Jersey would like to welcome our guest speaker, Mark McQuillan (pictured), a renowned news and sports journalist, presenter and media consultant who will talk about and focus on applying the principles of sport to business.

Mark currently presents and reports for Sky Sports News, ITV News and 5 News. The breakfast will provide valuable insights into Mark’s experiences of the sport and business worlds, and how the strategies, discipline, and mindset required for athletic success can be adapted to business environments.

Mark is no stranger to the Channel Islands, having been a main presenter for ITV Channel for seven years, anchoring its flagship 6pm programme, before moving into the world of national media. Mark combines broadcasting with media consultancy work, advising executives on their communications strategy, messaging and how to connect with their audience. It’s an event not to be missed for sport fans in the business community.
