Association for Project Management special networking event (Guernsey)
Join local committee members from the Association for Project Management (APM) at this special networking event.
Following March’s successful visit of APM’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Adam Boddison to Guernsey and Jersey, the APM Channel Islands committee are following-up with our next series of events.
On 9th June, networking events in both islands are being held to bring together project professionals, industry, political, civil service, and education leaders to meet the committee members and discuss raising the standard and profile of project management in the Channel Islands.
The events are informal and designed to connect those interested in following-up on the March events and for those generally interested in the project profession.
Over networking drinks and light refreshments, attendees can speak to local committee members to understand APM’s priorities and actions underway in Guernsey and Jersey. A short 5-10 minute update will be provided where we update attendees on:
- Who is APM?
- The local committee and ways to get involved.
- Cross-sector collaboration opportunities.
- Local project management apprenticeships.
- Qualifications, training, and accreditation.
- APM membership.
Ed Mason-Smith, Acting APM Chair in the Channel Islands said: “We are delighted to welcome anyone interested in the project profession to these two informal events. This is an opportunity to speak to the local APM committee members, find out more about APM, and most important for us, continue to build the channel island project management community.”
Agenda:
- 17:15 – Registration and light refreshments
- 17:30 – Update on APM and networking
- 18:30 – Close
This event is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.
