Annual debt fund webinar

Deloitte’s Debt Sector Market Update will take place on 29th May, offering valuable insights into the latest developments in the private debt market.

Our five expert speakers will cover a range of topics, including climate and sustainability, artificial intelligence (AI), ESG-linked bonds, updates on the securitisation and structured finance markets and a comprehensive update on the UK Qualifying Asset Holding Company (QAHC) Regime, which is designed to encourage investment in UK infrastructure and real estate projects.

Attendees will learn from leading industry experts and gain a deeper understanding of the latest trends and best practices in the private debt market.

Marc Cleeve (pictured), a Deloitte audit partner based in Jersey with over 20 years of experience in audit and a broad range of expertise in different debt strategies, will host the event.

Matt Reynolds, a member of Deloitte’s global climate and sustainability network will provide a contextual overview on ESG, together with insights into evolving reporting requirements and board considerations. He will also cover the developments around AI and its potential future impacts.

Jed Poole from Deloitte’s Debt Advisory team and will provide an update on the debt markets, in particular the private debt lending landscape. He will also share some introductory materials on green and ESG-linked loans.

Steve Webber, who leads Deloitte’s Structured Finance Advisory business, will share an update on the securitisation markets, including recent trends in issuance, performance and an outlook for 2024.

Finally, Dale Hewitt-Smith will join from London to provide an update on the UK’s Qualifying Asset Holding Company regime and its use in a debt investment context.
