Andrew Lownie – author of ‘Entitled: the rise and fall of the House of York’

Andrew Lownie, author of the first joint biography of the couple, ‘Entitled: the rise and fall of the House of York’, will launch an updated version of the book at the Georgian House in Victoria Street on Saturday, 30th May (2.30 pm), followed by a Q&A and dinner at the Blonde Hedgehog (6.30 pm) for which questions should be submitted in advance.

With sensational new material including the pair’s links with child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Lownie brings the most extraordinary and dramatic royal story in a generation up to date.

Tracing the lives of the former Prince and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson through their childhoods, courtship, marriage, divorce, careers, charitable activities and ultimate downfall, it is eye-watering biography at its best.

Investigating the reality of their relationship, Andrew’s Falklands record and business dealings, how they funded their extravagant lifestyles as well as their links with Jeffrey Epstein, Lownie’s rigorously researched account is packed full of revelations, painting a detailed picture that has changed the monarchy forever.
