All terrain challenge

Deloitte Guernsey is sponsoring the 28th edition of the All Terrain Challenge once again this year.

The week-long event will take place from 14-20 July allowing avid runners on the island to try a strenuous challenge each day.

The All Terrain Challenge is a long-standing event in the Guernsey athletics calendar, with races taking place in several locations around the island in order to push participants to their limits.

The events will range from hill climbs, cliff path routes and fast road races. There is also a surprise event held at Footes Lane during the week which has previously included a Steeple Chase.

The final race will take place in Herm, followed by an awards presentation evening in the Mermaid to congratulate those who took part.

David Becker, Partner in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte, and avid runner, said, ‘We really enjoyed sponsoring the event last year . The challenge is always great fun for everyone taking part.

‘This year, we even have multiple entries from the Deloitte office so it may get competitive! We wish everyone taking part the best of luck.’
