Accelerating Digital Transformation with Laserfiche – Guernsey
Jersey and Guernsey are very successful international business centres. Yet many organisations in the Channel Islands are struggling to attract and retain the talented individuals they need.
Leading organisations are investing in digital transformation, where staff, clients, suppliers and others can share information and access services digitally. Digital transformation can liberate busy people from mundane tasks, freeing them up to do more interesting and valuable work. This can improve client service and staff satisfaction as well as support sustainable business growth.
MBS is an IT services business with over 300 clients in 48 jurisdictions including many in Jersey and Guernsey. MBS will be running workshops on digital transformation in both islands. The workshops will involve discussions of what works plus demonstrations of leading IT systems including Laserfiche, the world-leading document management and process automation system.
The guest speaker will be Peter Bruges who has been working with Bourse Group, a leading Trust and Corporate Services Provider in Guernsey. Peter will explain how he has enabled Bourse to digitalise key business processes including client onboarding, regulatory reporting and risk management using Laserfiche integrated with Bourse’s other core systems. He will share lessons learned and answer questions.
MBS’s Managing Director Rupert Leaton said: “The pace of digital change has definitely accelerated. Covid showed how digital services could enable businesses to survive and thrive. Our clients have reported substantial benefits from process automation, however it does require real commitment and skilled resources as well as the right partners and software solutions. These workshops are a great chance to hear what works and help businesses plan their own digital transformation.”
