A Non-Legal Introduction to French Land Law

Presented by Véronique Legrand, Maître de conférences en Droit Privé from the University of Caen.

Véronique is well-known to many Guernsey Advocates as she has taught the Obligations (French contract law) element of the Certificat d’Etudes Juridiques Françaises et Normandes (the CEJFN) for a number of years. Outside her role on the CEJFN, Véronique holds a doctorate of Private International Law and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Caen.

The lecture is aimed at a non-legal audience who are interested in French property law, either through their own ownership of a property in France, those considering such a purchase, or advising clients who own property in France.
