A Night at The West End
Jersey’s largest children’s charity, Centrepoint, marks the start of its Ruby Jubilee celebrations with a grand fundraiser.
‘A Night at The West End’ will bring the stars of London’s West End to Jersey for a magical evening of Musical Theatre hosted by ITV’s Katya Fowler.
The Black Tie Gala Evening will take place on Saturday 29 June 2024 at the Royal Jersey Showground.
Stars of Musical Theatre from London’s West End will enchant the audience with show-stopping performances from iconic musicals such as Wicked, Hamilton, Les Misérables, and Jersey Boys. The Artistic Director for this extraordinary night is internationally acclaimed, Jersey-born Soprano, Georgi Mottram.
Georgi Mottram expressed her ambition for the Gala Evening stating: “Quite simply, we will bring the magic of the West End to Jersey. I have been involved in some incredibly uplifting and inspirational performances and have longed to bring these experiences to my home island. For our evening of celebration, West End royalty will sing show-stopping moments from some of the greatest hit shows. It promises to be a dazzling, magical, and truly unforgettable evening.”
This grand fundraiser marks the beginning of a series of events throughout 2024 aimed at raising crucial funds for Centrepoint. These funds will enable the charity to continue its invaluable support for children and families in the island community in 2024 and beyond.
Jane Moy, CEO of Centrepoint commented: “By supporting ‘A Night at The West End’, the Jersey community will be contributing to Centrepoint’s mission of supporting children and families who need it the most. Your involvement will make a meaningful impact, helping Centrepoint uphold its commitment to the well-being and development of Jersey’s future generations. ‘A Night at The West End’ will be an opportunity for islanders especially businesses, to celebrate with Centrepoint at what will be a magical evening of Musical Theatre.”
