Midnight Joanna

Midnight Joanna is a unique & original, immersive live musical experience, written and produced by Jersey musician, Ant Noel.

It is open mic at a boozy, late-night piano bar in a bustling city centre. The pianist host sits at a tune-worn ‘joanna’ while a cocktail of characters populate the place. There are starry-eyed singers, weary waitresses, lairy locals, troubled troubadours and a life-of-the-party landlord. Reputations will be made and ruined. Dreams will be realised and forgotten. From the down-and-outs to the up-and-at-’ems, they’ll all be in for the ride!

Featuring a nine-piece band of talented local musicians and with actors bringing memorable characters to life, Midnight Joanna is a thrilling night of rollicking rock ‘n’ roll, jivin’ jazz and blistering blues.

There is no formal seating plan, although sufficient chairs, stools and tables will be available. Tickets are for entry only. With the bar open throughout the show, audience members are encouraged to sit, stand, dance, mingle and get drinks from the bar at any time during the performance, in the style of a relaxed piano lounge.
