he Festival celebrates the liberation of the island and also reflects between life off island in France – where the liberating forces freed the population to much rejoicing – to life on island in the final year of the war – where the cutting of food supplies led to starvation.
The Liberation International Music Festival 2025 offers something for everyone, from classical and choral enthusiasts to jazz lovers. The festival’s unique outreach activities, including workshops and masterclasses to ensure accessibility and engagement with the local community.
