I have over 16 years’ experience of baking & decorating wedding and celebration cakes as a profession. I originally qualified as a chef in 1989 and have followed my dream of making wedding cakes ever since by attending courses and perfecting my skills in handmade sugar flowers, chocolate and many other sugarcraft techniques.
Every cake I design is original so it will be unique to you, fitting in with your theme or colour scheme. Designs can be simple or elaborate from a single tier to a traditional 3 tiers. There are a variety of stands and separators to choose from or stacked designs.
The most popular flavours are Victoria Sponge, Lemon Sponge, Rich Chocolate Cake using Belgian Dark Chocolate and the classic Rich Fruit Cake. Any of the cakes can be served as the dessert course, the chocolate being a favourite served with seasonal berries and fresh Guernsey Cream. Using only the best local ingredients and fresh farm eggs, each cake is made to order. Over the years I have gained knowledge of food allergies and dietary requirements such as gluten, dairy, nut & egg free cakes, I can cater for all of these and I also make a Vegan Carrot Cake.
