Digital Jersey has won a global award for the ‘Most innovative digital growth facilitator – United Kingdom’ for 2021, recognising its work in evolving and supporting the tech sector.
Global Brands Magazine, one of the leading specialist brand publications, said that Digital Jersey was ‘selected from a very competitive group of entrants, all of whom demonstrated unique and exceptional service delivery towards the evolving Technology sector. Digital Jersey was awarded this honour for its commitment to innovation, quality, branding activities, customer service and performance.’
The awards are judged by an independent external research agency and the winners chosen from a shortlist by the Global Brands team. Over 7,000 companies were evaluated for the awards in total.
Head of Marketing and Communications at Digital Jersey, Kelly Barker (pictured) said, “Our nomination particularly highlighted Jersey Techweek, our newly created TechTalk series, the virtual TechAwards event we delivered in early 2021 and increasing website engagement. By adapting our events online during lockdown, for example, we were able to take the Digital Jersey brand to a new global audience.”
Tony Moretta, CEO, Digital Jersey, added: “I am proud of the whole Digital Jersey team, who continue to find new ways to keep supporting the tech sector, and our community as a whole, especially during such a difficult pandemic year. Rather than just cancelling events, they found new ways to do things which expanded our audience and boosted the industry, and it’s fitting that this should be recognised with a global award.”
