Trips in October can now be booked with DFDS, providing islanders and visitors the opportunity to plan autumn travel in advance.
The updated timetable accommodates growing demand around schools’ half-term break, enabling families to coordinate holidays and essential journeys.
The schedule offers consistent and reliable connectivity from Jersey to key ports in the UK and France. Passengers can expect Monday-Saturday sailings to Portsmouth on the Stena Vinga, including a Friday evening sailing at 8pm which is perfect for families looking to start their half term getaway early. The high-speed craft Levante Jet serves the Jersey to Poole route with afternoon sailings from Jersey. The Tarifa Jet will continue with the cross-Channel connections to St Malo and to Guernsey throughout the month.
Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey, said: “We understand how important it is for families to make plans in advance, especially around school holidays, which is why we’ve prioritised releasing our October schedule early, ahead of the rest of autumn and winter, to support this.
“Our teams have worked hard to align vessel availability with key travel days and continue to do so for the rest of the autumn/winter schedule which will be out soon. As always, we’ll continue responding to feedback and adapt services where possible to meet demand. We look forward to welcoming islanders aboard.”
