Deloitte is sponsoring Ballet d’Jèrri, Jersey’s National Ballet, a charitable organisation which brings together some of the finest professional artists and athletes from across the globe.
The contemporary ballet charity, the first organisation of its kind to be based in the Channel Islands, performs globally but also in schools and in community centres in Jersey – making ballet more accessible. The charity wants to inspire others to pursue excellence in whatever they do and to create great art that represents and belongs to the island.
Adam Cichocki, partner at Deloitte Jersey said: “We are delighted to be an official sponsor of Jersey’s National Ballet, as we recognise the value that the charity brings to the island in terms of arts, culture and wellbeing. It’s important for Deloitte to collaborate with organisations that share our strong sense of purpose to do good.”
Carolyn Rose Ramsay, Founding Artistic Director said: “Ballet d’Jèrri is so thrilled that Deloitte has chosen to support us in this new venture. Deloitte is recognised around the world for achieving great things for their clients and the communities in which they operate, and it means so much to us that they believe in the value of our contribution here in Jersey. Both companies are deeply committed to the island and its future.”
