As the Channel Islands start to look ahead to economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Deloitte Channel Islands’ advisory team will be holding a series of eight webinars, providing advice and guidance on a number of digital transformation topics.

Organisations in Jersey and Guernsey need to ensure that their digital capabilities are ready to help the business grow and thrive, whilst maintaining security and reliability.

The first webinar is scheduled for Tuesday 26 May, and the free-to-attend sessions will take place on Zoom, twice a week until Monday 22 June.

Cybersecurity has been a hot topic throughout the pandemic and Deloitte’s first webinar will discuss some of the challenges that arise while managing the early hours of a cyber incident, including the technical and operational responses required and how to ensure affected customers are properly looked after

Other topics include: The Future of Work, exploring how ways of working will undoubtedly change permanently because of the Covid-19 pandemic; Starting your Robotic and Intelligent Automation Journey; and Managing Process through Digital Workflow.

Deloitte Advisory Director Simeon Moss, and Steve Barrey from Deloitte’s Managed Services team in the UK, will facilitate each webinar and provide local context for attendees.

“As the Channel Islands move into post-Covid recovery, organisations need to accelerate their digital roadmap and implement the business model for the “new normal”.

“This series of webinars highlight how we are supporting businesses in their journey through recovery and towards a position where they can start to thrive again,” says Mr Moss.

“Building trust is essential for business leaders to move towards new markets and new ways of doing business. Our first webinar focuses on cybersecurity crisis response because this is a make or break factor in creating trust for businesses with a digital focus.”
