Deloitte Guernsey has been acknowledged for its significant commitment, action and performance in supporting the community in Guernsey.
The company is one of the businesses working towards a better future as it becomes an accredited holder of the Community Champion award from Environmental and Social Impact Monitor (ESI Monitor).
The Community champion award was developed to create a simple and effective way for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to the community in which they operate. The aim of the award is to reward businesses that contribute most and encourage other businesses to attain higher standards.
In achieving the award, Deloitte’s Guernsey office has demonstrated a great commitment to helping its local community with regards to its partnership with the Guernsey Rural Occupational Workshop (GROW), including financial donations, time contributions and in-kind donations.
Sally Rochester, Director at Deloitte Guernsey, added: “We are delighted to have gained the ESI Community Champion award through our fantastic partnership with GROW in Guernsey.
“The Guernsey office plays a highly active role in Deloitte’s Five Million Futures social impact strategy, seeking to positively impact five million futures by 2030. Through our colleagues’ commitment to supporting GROW with their professional skills and fundraising, we have helped GROW to move closer to their fundraising and charitable objectives and we look forward to working together over the coming year as well.”
This award acts as a benchmark in an attempt to provide enhanced insight and drive excellence and recognition in corporate support of the community.
