Crestbridge has launched its first trainee rotational programme, to help launch the careers of people aspiring to work in financial services in Jersey by providing a solid foundation across key areas of the industry.
Recognising that financial services is a broad and wide-ranging industry with many potential career paths to follow, the Crestbridge trainee rotational programme has been designed for school leavers and graduates who would like a career in financial services and might not yet know to which area they are best suited but are keen to learn more.
Over the two-year programme, successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in three of Crestbridge’s client-facing service lines, including Private Equity, Funds, Corporate and Real Estate Corporate, spending around eight months in each of the three departments.
In addition, all trainees will have ongoing support from Crestbridge’s in-house Learning and Development team and begin studying towards becoming a professionally qualified Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) Administrator.
The scheme also offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and if successful, permanent employment with the additional possibility of being considered for secondment opportunities at the end of the programme.
The application period for the training programme is now open and runs until 27 May, with the first programme intake due to start on 5th September 2022.
Commenting on the launch of the scheme, Mike Edward, Chief People Officer, Crestbridge, said: “At Crestbridge our people are the heart of our business and I’m delighted to launch our trainee rotational programme that will help nurture the next talented generation of financial services professionals.
“We recognise that not everyone starts their career with a set idea of what they want to do. Our programme will provide an invaluable introduction to our industry and enable successful applicants to obtain a solid introduction and understanding of different service lines, whilst also benefitting from the opportunity to gain a professional qualification.
“I hope that anyone considering applying will join us for our open afternoon on 20th April to learn more about Crestbridge and what this rotational programme has to offer.”
To find out more, Crestbridge will be holding an open afternoon at its offices, Charter House, 23-27 Seaton Place, on Wednesday 20th April between 16:00 and 18:00.
