Credit Suisse Guernsey has appointed Lee Osborne as its new Head of Legal.
Lee joins Credit Suisse as a senior representative of the General Counsel Division of Credit Suisse and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Guernsey branch. He is responsible for the provision of General Counsel services, primarily for the international wealth management division.
Lee also supports the branch manager and Chief Operating Officer with legal advice and acts as a General Counsel representative member of the Branch Management Committee and the Capital Adequacy Risk Management Committee. Alongside Credit Suisse’s Head of Compliance, Lee also co-ordinates the Guernsey branch’s relationship with the GFSC.
With over 17 years’ private practice experience at leading onshore and offshore law firms in the UK, the British Virgin Islands, Singapore and more recently in Guernsey, Lee’s practice area is vast. He has experience advising on English, BVI, Cayman Islands and Guernsey law across corporate, banking, investment funds and regulatory practise areas. Lee is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and is also admitted in the British Virgin Islands.
