Corbett Le Quesne has established its Private Client department with the recent addition of Simon Lofthouse.
Simon joins from Ogier (Jersey) as head of the Private Client team.
With over eleven years’ experience in all areas of private client matters, Simon’s practice encompasses succession and estate planning advice to local and international clients. This includes advising his clients on issues such as, wills, probate and mental capacity issues.
In addition to this, Simon has substantial expertise in advising charities, trustees and beneficiaries of Jersey trusts, and has particular interest in advising HNW international families on cross-border succession planning and general wealth structuring. Simon’s legal practice is further bolstered by his STEP qualification in cross border estate planning in which he received the highest ever mark in any STEP exam worldwide. Simon is a practising English solicitor, he lives with his wife and two daughters in Trinity and volunteers with the RNLI in his spare time.
