Collas Crill has been recommended as a top tier firm in four practice areas in Guernsey and Jersey in the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2021 rankings, reflecting the quality of work, clients and lawyers in these fields.
Five of the firm’s practice areas moved up a tier including the dispute resolution team in Jersey, jumping in the rankings to claim its place in Tier 1, alongside the firm’s Guernsey dispute resolution team.
Collas Crill’s commercial property teams in both jurisdictions have retained their listing in Tier 1, reflecting a long history of the property teams operating at this level across the Channel Islands as a premier property practice.
The firm’s corporate, finance and funds team in Jersey also received a notable set of results, moving up to Tier 2 in all three practice areas – banking and finance, corporate and commercial, and investment funds. The firm’s international private Client and Trust team in Guernsey was also promoted from Tier 3 to Tier 2.
Several of the firm’s lawyers have been recognised as leading individuals, as well as further acknowledgements in the ‘Next Generation Partners’ and ‘Rising Star’ categories. Three Collas Crill lawyers – Damian James, Christian Hay and Nuno Santos-Costa – now feature in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame, which recognises law firm partners who are at the pinnacle of their profession.
