The Partners of Collas Crill have elected Jason Green as the firm’s Senior Partner.
The role of Senior Partner encompasses being an ambassador for the Collas Crill group across its offices in Guernsey, Jersey, Cayman and BVI, and raising its profile across the globe.
As the most senior figure, Jason (pictured) will be involved in the strategic direction and decision making of the firm.
Jason is a Partner in the Guernsey Property team and headed up the team until December 2020.
He joined Collas Day and Rowland, as it then was, in 1994 and has been integrally involved in the development and growth of the firm over almost three decades.
Jason has over the years been involved in most of the largest commercial transactions in Guernsey, whether acting for seller, buyer, lender, landlord or tenant.
Aside from property, Jason has a passion for Corporate Social Responsibility and has been involved in many charities over the years, most notably being chair of Autism Guernsey from its incorporation until 2018, as well as chair of the Judging Panel of the Community Foundation Awards for Achievement. He is also an ambassador for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and regularly provides legal advice to charities on their property requirements.
Most recently he was the driving force behind Collas Crill’s involvement in the Guernsey Liberation Day hamper initiative, a partnership with Education, Sport and Culture (of which Jason is a non-voting member), which saw 500 hampers donated to those islanders who lived through the Occupation or who were evacuated from Guernsey in the Second World War.
Of his appointment as Senior Partner Jason Green said: “I am thrilled to start this new chapter of my professional life at Collas Crill. I am looking forward to being involved in the strategic decision making for the firm but also doing my best to raise the profile of the firm and supporting our partners, lawyers and support staff in their day to day lives at Collas Crill.”
Group Managing Partner Jason Romer said: “Jason’s near 30 years of commitment and devotion to the firm, and the value that he has brought, and continues to bring, to Collas Crill has been inspiring to me and to his fellow partners, past and present.
” I would like to wish him much success in the role and have no doubt that he will continue to add value to the Partnership, the firm and staff across the Group, as well as championing Collas Crill’s commitment to giving back to our local communities.”
