Collas Crill is celebrating the recent success of one of its Guernsey based trainee solicitors, Harry Round, who has passed his LLM in Professional Legal Practice.
Harry has been with the firm since May 2015 when he joined as a paralegal, before being awarded a place on its popular trainee programme in 2018. He studied for his most recent qualification while undertaking his training contract.
Harry has a first class B.Sc. degree in Residential Property with honours from Kingston University London, and was awarded his Master’s Degree (LLM) from the University of Law in London. He completed his Masters dissertation on residential leasehold title reform in England and Wales from a practitioner’s perspective.
As part of the trainee programme, he is currently in his third of four seats, whereby he rotates between the firm’s different practice areas.
His current position is within the UK Real Estate & Real Estate Finance team headed by group partner, Michael Morris in which he has been putting his academic study to practical use.
Guernsey managing partner, Christian Hay, said: “Harry’s recent success is testament to his dedication and enthusiasm which is something we are always keen to see in our trainees, aligning well with one of our core values; loving what we do. Many congratulations to Harry on his latest achievement.”
