The law firm Collas Crill has appointed a new Group Head of Knowledge Management.
Kate Stanfield will be responsible for further developing knowledge systems to continue to support the firm’s business strategy across Collas Crill’s seven offices.
As a strategic business transformation role, Kate will be responsible for building the group’s KM function across all jurisdictions and promoting efficient and effective technical and legal support to fee-earners across the network.
Kate has 27 years experience of working in a knowledge role within law firms, most recently with CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, and seven years’ experience of business information and local government.
Kate has implemented numerous knowledge and collaboration systems, working with both lawyers and clients. She has considerable experience assisting the legal teams within corporate clients with knowledge and information services, including knowledge audits, helping to create a knowledge strategy, developing knowledge systems, improving intranets and developing taxonomy for the business.
