Collas Crill Senior Associate Ben le Page and Associate Harry Round have been admitted to the Guernsey Bar.
Ben joined Collas Crill as a paralegal and went on to train with the firm, qualifying as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2017. He was promoted to Senior Associate in August 2022.
Ben advises on all aspects of commercial law, with a particular focus on banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters across multiple jurisdictions. He is a member of the Guernsey International Legal Association and Guernsey Investment Association, and was included on the eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 UK (2021) and Crown Dependencies (2022) lists.
Ben said: “After an extremely busy year juggling work and study, I am absolutely delighted to be called to the Guernsey Bar today to become an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey. A big thank you to my fantastic colleagues at Collas Crill and friends and family for all their support throughout my studies. I am looking forward to what the future holds for me as I further my career in Guernsey.”
Harry attained his Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Law and was admitted to the Senior Courts in England and Wales in 2020.
Having completed his training with Collas Crill, Harry joined their Guernsey Property Team as an Associate, where he assists a variety of private and corporate clients, including international banks, bespoke lenders, UHNWIs and individuals, on the acquisition and disposal of some of the Island’s most notable properties.
Harry said: “I am thrilled to have been admitted to The Guernsey Bar today as an Advocate of the Royal Court. My appreciation must be expressed to my friends, family, and colleagues at Collas Crill, who have assisted and endured me throughout.”
